I am proud to announce that I have recently illustrated my first children’s book, a project which was a collaboration with one of my very closest friends (Sam Gould). Sam is a talented writer, poet and storyteller in his own right, who I have known since we were both just (slightly odd) children ourselves, so it seems fitting that our book is about strange children. In fact, it is called;

“The Strange Children of Dinzle Dursley”.

The book is 44 pages long, written entirely in the form of (dare I say, wickedly clever?) rhyming poetry, and contains a selection of weird and wonderful cautionary tales about kids who possess some fantastically strange quirks, talents and abilities. The stories/poems in this book were written by Sam, and fully illustrated in colour by myself.

Below you can view the first 8 pages of our finished book, in which you will be taken on a hair-raising tour of the English countryside and get introduced to our first extraordinary youngster. Further information is listed below the gallery.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this sneaky preview of our illustrated children’s book, “The Strange Children of Dinzle Dursley”. This is the first book that both Sam, or myself, have ever created, and we are both very proud of the finished result. We are currently looking into publication, so if you are a prospective publisher and would like to show your interest, or if you wish to learn more about the project, then we would love to hear from you via the contact details provided on this website.
